Aerial photography often plays an important part in accident reconstruction. The more germane black and white aerial taken from a film library of high altitude fly-overs are often utilized to provide a general sense of the accident area.  These photographs, when enlarged, are generally grainy and difficult for the layperson to interpret. When a dedicated flight for a specific accident scene is used, the results are color photographs generally much lower to the ground and, in many instances, taken closer in time to that of the actual accident. These color aerial photographs are much more useful in generating an overall feel of the accident scene. Depending on how they are enlarged, dedicated flight aerials may provide more detail than a photograph taken at ground level.
CrushAnalysis normally combines ground level photography and aerial photography with marked common reference points to provide an unquestionable additional tool for an adjuster, attorney or a jury attempting to interpret an accident scene.

Color aerial enlargements with positioned vehicles or cones have come to be a trademark at Crush Analysis. In addition, we have developed a method of integrating aerial photographs into simulations. The cost is low and the result invaluable.
